Prosecution rests its rebuttal; closings set for Thursday

Dr. Gregory Saathoff, the FBI Behavioral Analysis Unit psychiatrist, finished as the Commonwealth's final rebuttal witness, testifying that Clancy "had the capacity to appreciate right from wrong," that she was "criminally responsible," and that command hallucinations "do not propel an individual to automatically obey them." With that the prosecution rested its rebuttal, closing an evidentiary phase that ran 21 days and 84 witnesses.
