Lindsay Clancy Trial

She doesn't deny causing her three children's deaths. The whole trial is one question: was her mind gone — wrecked by postpartum psychosis, as her defense says — or working fine, as prosecutors say? The experts flatly contradict each other, and a verdict could land within days.

Tupac Shakur Murder Trial

Tupac Shakur was 25 when someone in a white Cadillac fired into his car on a Las Vegas side street in September 1996. He died six days later, and for nearly thirty years nobody was charged. Duane "Keffe D" Davis is on trial now because of the one thing that finally cracked the case open: his own mouth. The jury's question is not really who was in that Cadillac — it is whether a man's own confessions, sold in a memoir and repeated on camera for years, are enough to convict him when almost everyone who could confirm or deny them is dead.

Jared Bridegan Murder Trial

Jared Bridegan, a 33-year-old Microsoft manager, stopped his car on a dark Jacksonville Beach street to move a tire someone had dragged into the road. He was shot dead there, with his young daughter in the back seat. Nobody says Mario Fernandez — the man who married Bridegan's ex-wife — pulled the trigger; the single question for this jury is whether he was the one who arranged and paid for it.

Lil Durk Murder-for-Hire Trial

Federal prosecutors say Grammy-winning rapper Lil Durk put a bounty on a rival rapper's head to avenge the 2020 killing of his friend King Von, and that the gunmen who flew to Los Angeles in August 2022 shot the wrong man — killing Quando Rondo's cousin, Saviay'a Robinson. Durk Banks, 33, denies all of it and has been jailed without bail since October 2024. The trial's defining fight is whether his own songs and music videos can be used against him as proof of a real murder.

Alex Murdaugh Retrial

Alex Murdaugh was convicted in 2023 of murdering his wife and son — and then, in May 2026, the South Carolina Supreme Court unanimously threw the whole verdict out. The reason was not new evidence about the killings: it was that the elected Colleton County Clerk of Court, the official who handles the jury, had been talking to jurors during the trial while shopping a book about it. He now gets a second trial, starting April 5, 2027, in a county nobody has picked yet.
